Yesterday was a beautiful day.  We took the family to a carnival complete with face painting, slides, free cotton candy, kettle corn, fire trucks, tractors, and lots of  things little ones enjoy.  Later that day we joined some friends for fajitas and our eldest engaged with their youngest in some play.  There is something about getting a little sunshine and spending time with friends that is so spectacular – it feeds the soul.  I’m still beaming this morning as I write.

The birthday party for our two year old was a success!  It was a beautiful day for a party, it was warm and sunny.  We sang happy birthday and enjoyed Cars cakes with the kids.  Our newly two-year old loved the bug house, blocks, puzzles, books, and toys he received. Everyone enjoyed a hike outside on our five acres and our two-year old loved telling everyone about the bark and pine needles outside.
