I grew up in a house full of girls. And while we were all athletic – in gymnastics and cheerleading, I’m surprised by how active two little boys can be. Even at ages five and three, they are balls of energy ready to take on almost anything. Oftentimes, it’s all I can do to keep up.
Before I had kids I would work out at the gym at least four days a week. Aerobics, elliptical, and running were my personal favorites. Now, I enjoy low-impact exercise but I struggle with anything that involves running or too much bouncing around. Why? Well, let’s just say that labor and delivery were a little hard on me. I wouldn’t change it for the world because I love my boys, but your body changes when you deliver a couple of babies.

Now that the boys are older I want to get more active again. We were invited to a trampoline park recently for my niece’s birthday party.
