Father’s Day is a celebration of my earthly father, my husband who is a father to our two boys and my heavenly father. I can’t help but just glance outside or at one of my children and think about how awesome our God is to design and create such a beautiful place. To see God’s workmanship in the tiny hands of a newborn, or stand at the edge of the ocean breathless from the wonder of it all. It touches my heart to know of His deep love for me and for my family. How can I possibly thank Him for all He has done? I don’t have the words, I just have a heart that wants to praise Him. In the same way, I don’t have words enough to thank my earthly father or my husband enough for their sacrifice, their love for our family, or their Godly leadership. I am in awe of all I have received. Praise Him. This father’s day I want to bow in honor of my heavenly king and be inspired by Him to celebrate Father’s Day.

Lord, thank you that your love runs deeper than the ocean and stretches higher than the sky. Happy Father’s Day – I pray you entrust me with a heart that always seeks to praise you. Help me to know you more and help me to be a daughter, wife and mom that is walking, breathing evidence of your love for us. I bow to you my King and I lift my voice to praise you.
