Our Happy and Blessed Peanut
I decided to name my blog after my son whose middle name means “Happy and Blessed” in Hebrew. I think the name also applies because it’s how our family feels about all that the Lord has done in our lives. We truly are happy and blessed.
Psalm 16:11, New International Version (NIV)
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
In addition, my hope is that this blog can serve as a way to bless others – a means for our cup to runneth-over: to be a happy blessing to others.
My prayer is that I can use this blog to share my heart for His word and our home. I want to be encouraging others through scripture, fun lessons for preschoolers, biblical advice on marriage, and what God is doing in our lives.
I’ve been a writer for many years via hand-written journals but this is my first venture into blogging. I hope that as my knowledge of blogging grows so will my efforts to encourage others through my posts.
