Goal Accomplished

October 15, 2012

Five weeks ago I started a fitness challenge through Peak313  at: http://peak313.com/.  She's got a great site with exercises, tips and more.  And I'm happy to say I completed the fitness challenge even though most of the time I had to do my workouts after the kids went to bed due to some of the busyness these past few weeks.  I applaud Clare for being my personal trainer even though we've never ... Two weeks of Joy!

October 14, 2012

Once you see how cute they are you'll know why I can't resist writing about them.  My two boys are quite simply the delight of my life.  I love to hear their laughter and watch them play together.  It brings me so much joy to watch them as they discover new things and master new skills. What a blessing and a privilege to be able to stay home with them.  My husband and I are so thankful to the Lord ... View Post

Letter "A"

October 13, 2012

Monster Cookies

October 7, 2012

It was a little chilly outside today and it seemed to be a perfect day for baking.  We celebrated a very special birthday in our family today (Happy Birthday Dad!) and to help celebrate I made these delicious "Monster Cookies" that my friend Jill introduced me to.  Filled with ooey-gooy peanut butter, oats and chocolate chips, they are absolutely delicious. I placed a peanut M&M on top for ... View Post

French Toast Bake

A warm, tasty breakfast perfect for a crowd.  This dish was inspired by the Baked French Toast Casserole on Food Network.com.  My version, however, does not include the two sticks of butter to save on fat and calories. Ingredients:Butter to coat baking dish10 eggs12 slices white toast3/4 c. heavy whipping cream1 1/4 c. milk2 tablespoons granulated sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon ... View Post
