Decide What You Will Do

March 15, 2012

Our two boys playing I haven't stopped reading to glean parenting ideas.  More from the book "Positive Discipline". * An overlooked part of discipline is prevention, good old thinking ahead to the problems and situations that might occur. In preparation consider: * Decide what you will do - determine your response ahead of time should your child misbehave * Respectfully explain to ... View Post

Enjoying Infancy Again

March 15, 2012

What an amazing plan God has for our growth. Reminds me of the verse in 1 Corinthians 3:2 "I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready."  We can grow a ... View Post

We celebrated our five year anniversary this weekend. :)  Hard to believe it's been five years!  It seems like yesterday in some ways, and then I look at our little ones and realize it has been a journey.  These years are amazing in so many ways and we're so thankful to watch them grow.  At the same time we look forward to the time when they can go on trips with us, or backpacking or hiking. ... We celebrated our five year anniversary this weekend (PTL!) Hard to believe it's been five years.  It seems like yesterday in some ways, and then I look at our little ones and realize it has been a journey.  These years are amazing in so many ways and we're so thankful to watch them grow.  At the same time we look forward to the time when they can go on trips with us, or backpacking or hiking. ...
