Nugget and his big brother, Peanut – Amazing Love
I can’t believe how fast time flies! Today was our little guy’s original due date… he’s almost a month old now. I am so blessed that my husband was able to stay home with me for three weeks and now my mom is in town to help me for a little over a month. I started out nursing and reading to keep up with all the books I have, but now I nurse in the kitchen or dining room to be close to my family. The days are busy. I’m trying to get into a routine.
When I see my little boys I am reminded of God’s amazing love for us. It’s even greater than the out-of-control crazy love I have for my sons. I could lose myself just looking at their little faces or basking in the sounds of their voices – one with an infectious laugh and the other with a coo and a smile.
God sees us like that – we are His children – it’s an amazing, extravagant, out-of-control crazy love. Hmmm… how good it is, and how great is our God.
