Our Mission at HappyandBlessedHome.com

A few years ago, we gave birth to a preemie at 30 weeks. While in the neonatal intensive care unit, one of the nurses told us, "You are your child's greatest advocate." No one knows a child's heart the way that a mom or dad does. And no one has a greater impact on how they grow and develop. HappyandBlessedHome.com was built on that premise and every publication begins with that end in mind. To enrich the lives of children and families through encouraging moms, easy recipes, free printables, and family fun.

The site is named after our two boys. Our eldest son's name translates into Happy and Blessed. And the blog was launched only a few days before our second son was born, the baby we hoped to bring home.

As the creator and author of the recipes and children's activities you will find on this site, I welcome you to share in our adventures. I use my certifications as an Early Childhood Teacher and Montessori Certified Educator to create printables. And I love to create tasty recipes that nourish and strengthen our family.
