I have a confession to make.
Ever since we had kids, I can’t stay up until midnight. I typically sleep through New Year’s because I’m a mom. And I’m tired at midnight.
But this year, we’re going to try and make a go at staying up till midnight. (Shhh… I’m going to try and nap for at least two hours on New Year’s eve day).
So, since we’re staying up, I’ve created a FUN printable pack to keep kiddos busy until the clock strikes 12. (Honestly, I think they’ll fall asleep by 9 PM). Keep reading to learn more about the FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids.
And, since we’re on the topic of kicking off the New Year right… I thought I should tell you about an awesome resource I’m using to meet my New Year’s goals of eating healthier, taking better pictures, and getting organized in 2017.

New Year’s Eve Family Fun
So while I contemplate my New Year’s goals and how I’m going to reach my goals in 2017; I’m still going to need to keep the kids busy on New Year’s eve. I’ll print out the first page of “The Happiness Habit” and read it in the afternoon, then I’ll whip up a killer smoothie from the book on “52 Amazing Fat Burning Shakes”, (everyone else will get yummy New Year’s party food) and by the time evening rolls around, I’ll print out the cool New Year’s Eve Board Game from FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids. My boys love to assemble the dice – so we may have more than one dice for our family board game.

New Year’s Eve Board Game
This fun “Candy-Land” style board game is what I’m going to call our New Year’s Eve Board Game. Just cut out the dice and game pieces, roll the dice and transport your New Year’s Eve kid from the start to the finish. Maybe give the winner an extra New Year’s party favor? I recommend using a party shaker and not a blow horn. 😉 This game is easy to assemble and follow. And it promises to make for family memories everyone will cherish. Roll the dice and enjoy this FUN Family Game -New Year’s Eve Board Game!
New Year’s Eve Puzzles
There are four fun puzzles in the FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids. Each offers a different level of complexity. You can print and laminate the puzzle pieces, or opt to simply print on card stock for a short-life use. My kids love the fireworks. They’re colorful and they remind my kids of the 4th of July.
FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids – Coloring Pages
There are eight coloring pages in the FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids including a New Year’s Day Baby, party blowers, fireworks, and a party girl and party boy.
FREE New Year’s Activity Pack for Kids – Party Hats
Plus, I’ve included images to create your very New Year’s hats at home. Just cut out a strip of construction paper two to three inches wide and assemble it to wrap around your child’s head. Then attach the hat with tape or glue for a fun New Year’s Eve hat.
